Wacom Introduces Beginner’s Drawing Tablet, Wacom One

Known for its different pens and drawing tablets for artists, designers and content producers, Wacom introduced a new entry-level drawing tablet. Wacom says this product appeals to the next generation of artists.
The digital transformation in the world is reflected in the art community. Platforms like Spotify are changing music, platforms like YouTube and Netflix, series and cinema. In the meantime, the art of painting and design is transforming and moving to digital.

One of the most important factors in this digital transport is drawing pens and drawing tablets. Wacom, one of the leading companies in the field, introduced wacom one, a beginner’s drawing tablet, at CES 2020 with the company’s other entry-level products.

The company describes Wacon One as”for a new generationof artists”. Although it’s not a product that excites experienced users, the pen and drawing tablet have remarkable features.

Wacom One features

Wacom One features a 13-inch 1080p display and features 72% NTSC in color. The display is compatible with Mac, Windows and some Android devices.

Compatible Android devices include Huawei P20/P30, Mate 10/10 Pro, Mate 20/20 Pro; Samsung Galaxy Note 10/10+/9/8, Galaxy S10e/S9/S8, Galaxy Tab S4/S5e/S6 and Sony Xperia XZ2. Wacom says it will adapt to more devices in the future.

Like all of Wacom’s products, this display comes with a pen that does not require charging and is sensitive to pressure. If you don’t want to use this pen, you can also use a third-party manufacturer’s pen, but the pen must be compatible with the drawing tablet. According to Wacom, the pens produced by Lamy, Samsung and STEADTLER fit the screen. The only pen that is compatible with the screen rather than wacom pens is unfortunately the device’s own pen.

Affordable price highlights Wacom One

Wacom One is definitely not capable of falling in love with high-end devices. Still, it looks like there’s going to be a lot of suitors on the drawing tablet. Wacom’s price tag of $399.95 (approximately $2,360 excluding taxes) also appears to increase interest in the device.

It won’t be long before Wacom One hits the shelves. The company said the product will be on sale this month. Wacom One; the company will be on its site and retail retailers such as Best Buy and Amazon.
