Taiwanese technology giant Gigabyte introduces the world’s first liquid-cooled external GPU, the Aorus RTX 2080 Ti Gaming Box. The new external GPU promises high performance for gamers and content producers with its Waterforce cooling system.
At CES 2020 in Las Vegas, the firsts of the tech world continue to take the stage. Known for its computer components and player computers, Gigabyte has put its new focus on hardware. The Taiwanese company unveiled the World’s first liquid-cooled external GPU, the Aorus RTX 2080 Ti Gaming Box.
The Liquid-cooled portable graphics card Aorus RTX 2080 Ti Gaming Box features Gigabyte’s Waterforce system, offering a versatile cooling solution not only for the GPU but also for all other important components on computers. Waterforce not only extends the life of the GPU, but also helps you get high performance while overclocking.
The external GPU’s cooling system includes a large copper plate, a 240 mm aluminum radiator and two 120 mm fans. The optimized pump delivers the most efficient fluid flow and cooling performance with lower noise levels.
The Aorus RTX 2080 Ti Gaming Box is sure to be an external GPU ideal for gamers. However, it can be preferred by players as well as content producers, publishers and those engaged in 3D graphics work due to high-level graphics processing performance.
In addition to all this, the external GPU; It features RGB lighting,Power Distribution support, Thunderbolt connectivity interface and three USB 3.0 ports that can be synchronised with your Aorus peripherals, such as monitors, keyboards and mice.
The Aorus RTX 2080 Ti Gaming Box connects to the laptop via Thunderbolt 3 and offers up to 40 Gbps processing speed. It also provides 100W of power to charge the laptop. Gigabyte also announced the official launch of the external GPU during the launch of the Aorus RTX 2080 Ti Gaming Box.
